Thank you for your interest in attending the
International School Of Beauty. The following
information is provided to help you determine
if you are eligible for admission into our programs.
FRESHMAN CLASS ENROLLMENT:
New classes start every eight to ten weeks. The
freshman curriculum for each of the courses offered,
requires a specified number of hours of attendance,
classroom lectures, demonstrations, and student
practice. Each class teaches the student from
the very first day by introducing the basics in
each area of required learning in order for the
student to successfully pass the California State
Board examination. From the initial introduction,
the student will learn all fundamentals that are
the basic requirements for the chosen field of
study. The hours spent in the freshman class are
as follows:
Cosmetology, 200 hours;
Esthetician, 80 hours;
Manicurist, 40 hours;

Student must have graduated from High
School or have a General Education Diploma
(GED).
If the student is 16 years old or beyond
the compulsory age for school (18 years
old) and/or does not have a High School
Diploma or GED.
Please bring your diploma or GED,
Driver's License or another government-issued
picture ID, and your Social Security
Card on the day of your appointment
to register for school.

Students are expected to adhere to
all school rules and regulations and
complete their training within the
maximum times allowed, as specified
at the time agreed upon as a part of
their Enrollment Contract. If a student
exceeds the time frame allowed and
outlined in the contract, an extra
instruction charge will be made for
the balance of the hours required for
the completion of the course. Also,
if a student is given any special tuition
rate reduction in exchange for agreeing
to full-time enrollment, the student
will forfeit that reduction if their
attendance falls below the minimum
required to meet the full-time schedule.
Fee is pursuant to course chosen.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
Upon completion of all classroom and practical/laboratory
education and training; with a grade-point
average of no less than 70%, and having paid,
in full, all tuition owed for the training
provided per the signed enrollment agreement,
the student shall receive a diploma of completion
of the chosen course program.
